MEET DR. TIMOTHY FOY

His story is one of transformation, surrender, and radical obedience to the call of God.

Our Founder

A Journey of Transformation

Born and raised in poverty in the Chicagoland area, Dr. Timothy Foy’s path was shaped by both hardship and determination. As a first male-generation college student, he pursued education relentlessly, ultimately earning a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree and two doctorates. By every measure of success, he had built a remarkable life.

He worked at some of the top institutions in the country, including the University of Chicago Medical Center, Indiana University Hospital, Presence Hospital, and a Military Veteran, where he was a Hospital Administrator. He is a published author of three books, runs his own consulting company and has served as an adjunct professor at several universities, including Vincennes University and the University of Indianapolis.

Dr. Tim is also a devoted husband and father. He has been married to the love of his life for 21 years, and together they have two beautiful children.

His life took a profound turn when he had a personal encounter with God, an experience that changed his whole life. He walked away from everything the same day, in pure faith, not knowing what the outcome would be.

When God called, Dr. Tim left it all behind to pursue something greater. He began to isolate himself and study the Word of God for an entire year and during this time he fell in love with Jesus.

He went on to study at the Encounter Catholic School of Ministry, a training program that forms individuals in identity, prophecy, healing, inner healing, and spiritual gifts. His formation continued through deep engagement with the Catholic faith. After attending the National Eucharistic Congress, Dr. Tim joined OCIA (the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) and was received into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil in 2025.

Today, Dr. Tim operates in the gifts of healing, and working of miracles ministry, walking with those who need physical and spiritual restoration. Through his work, he has prayed for deaf ears and blind eyes to open, for those suffering from dementia, cancer, and ALS to receive healing, and for those who could not walk to rise and walk again. He carries the conviction that God still moves powerfully in our world and that no one is beyond His reach.

During his journey many Catholics reached out to him, mentioning authors, speakers and priests they thought he should listen to. When Dr. Foy asked them where he could see them in person, no one could answer. God placed it on his heart to bring those same voices that people were excited to share with him and touch his heart to his own community. Out of this calling, he founded 9:35 Ministries, with a single focused mission: to go after lost souls and bring them home to God, strengthen the Catholic faith, and operate in the gifts of the Spirit.
